Our AES Thanksgiving lunch is scheduled for Tuesday, November 26th. Notes came home last week with students and are due tomorrow, November 8th. Please return those if you plan to eat lunch with your child, so our cafeteria manager can get an accurate headcount for her food order.
Adult meal prices are $8 and child meal prices are $6. You will pay the day of the lunch with either cash or check only.

The November 12, 2024 school board meeting has been rescheduled to November 4, 2024. The meeting will begin at the normal time of 6:30 with the work session following the meeting.

Reminder our Fall Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 8th from 3-5 pm. After school will be cancelled on this day.

Our ISM class has been busy making this beautiful quilt the past several weeks! Special thank you to Erin Scott with Strawberry Cottage Quilting for donating her time and helping us out by quilting the quilt for our students. It was auctioned off in the silent auction at the AES Fall Festival on Thursday night and Peggy Garrett was the winner. #ocsISworkforceReady #InnovativeSchoolModelsTN

There will be a Girl Scouts information meeting this Wednesday, September 11th at 6 pm for anyone interested.
This September help us Spread the Love! We will be collecting jars of peanut butter (or other nut butters) to donate to those in need.
Did you know? Peanut butter is one of the most frequently requested items by food banks because it is kid-friendly, shelf-stable, and protein-rich.
There is a box in the front hallway that students can drop off their donations in. Thank you! ❤️

Our Fall Picture Day will be on Tuesday, August 27th.
AES is supporting the OC Jr. Cats this week for Homecoming Week and joining the dress up fun!
Please don’t forget that TUESDAY is our Fall Picture Day at AES! 📸 Fall pictures are used for the yearbook. 😁 Unless you want a tie dye/groovy picture in the 24-25 yearbook we recommend not dressing groovy or bringing your groovy outfit to change into after your picture.

Save the date! The first PTO meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, August 27th at 5 pm in the cafeteria. Everyone is invited to attend.
